1. Service

Carino (heycarino.com) is operated by Keenvo Tech OÜ, registered in Estonia (17457927), Kotkapoja tn 2a-10, 10615 Tallinn, Estonia ("we", "us"). Advertising, traffic acquisition, and monetization services are provided by ActiveView OÜ, registered in Estonia (16639782), Kotkapoja tn 2a-10, Tallinn 10615, Harju, Estonia. By using Carino you agree to these terms.

Carino is a virtual pet for small daily habits that you can care for alone or with one other person. It is a game and a gentle reminder, not a health, medical or therapeutic service.

Nothing in Carino is medical, psychological or health advice. If you need help, talk to a professional.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to use Carino.

3. Plans and billing

Carino is free. Duo Plus, where available, is an optional subscription: your pet's thoughts every day for everyone who cares for the pet, and the snack and the blanket without videos and no ads for whoever subscribes. The price and the total are shown before you pay. It renews until you cancel; you can cancel future renewals at any time on the Duo Plus page and keep it until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

4. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable after activation. Contact support for billing issues; we review them case by case.

5. Acceptable use

Pick pet names that are kind and safe for everyone. Names with insults, personal data, links or phone numbers are refused or removed, and a reported name can be changed. Don't use Carino to bother or harass anyone.

6. Duo mode

Duo mode is for people aged 18 or older. An invite link works once and expires after 7 days. When a duo splits up, the pet stays with whoever joined first; the other person leaves and can start a new pet. You can leave a duo, remove or block your partner and report them at any time.

7. Rewarded videos

Where available, you can watch a short ad to give your pet a snack or a blanket. Rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred and have daily limits.

8. Your pet's thoughts

Your pet's thoughts are short texts written by an AI model, for fun. They are not advice of any kind, and now and then one may miss the mark.

9. Disclaimer

Carino is provided "as is" for informational purposes, without warranties of any kind. We may update or change features without notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carino and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made based on information shown in the app.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or attempt to defraud us or our partners.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Carino after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or to the use of Carino, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Harju County, Tallinn, Estonia. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions, or of the right to bring proceedings in the courts, of your country of residence.
